Twelve people entered the junior/senior tournament which took place on charity day, and they enjoyed a great afternoon of tennis. Each senior player was teamed up with a junior, and after 7 games they moved onto another court to face different opponents. This was a great way of meeting new people and involving our younger members in club activities.
As can be seen in these photographs, players got into the spirit of the diamond jubilee theme by dressing in red, white and blue with some appearing in very creative outfits!
Congratulations to the winners. Carrie Askew & Nicola Hawes tied in 1st place for the seniors and Alice Kirk was the top scoring junior player.
