Sanderstead has talent

Members at Sanderstead Tennis Club showed that they DO, in fact, have talent (not only tennis, but in lots of other areas!!).  There were two categories of entrants for the talent show, which took place on Saturday 1st December – juniors and seniors.  For the juniors, we saw Aaron and Lara sing, Adam play the drums and Alice & Ella play the piano.  For the adults, the performers included a sing-song by Jim Gibbons, belly dancing by Claire Fenwick, singing & playing the guitar by Andy Easter and a song by ‘Old Spice’ made up of Patience Brown, Nicola Hawes, Charlotte Trzcinska, Claire Fenwick and Carrie Askew.  A great laugh was had by all and the talent on display was great!  Congratulations in particular to the winners : Lara Askew (for the juniors) and Andy Easter (for the seniors).  Well done to Claire Fenwick for all her hard fundraising work and to Derek Canty for being a fabulous MC!
