The annual charity day was once again a huge success, thanks to the combined efforts of both social and tennis members, as well as many other volunteers helpers!
The day was great fun for people of all ages, and included activities such as face painting, crazy golf, nail painting, whack the ferret and test the speed of your serve! Stalls were selling home-made cakes, plants, books & CDs, jewellery and stationery. The tombola attracted lots of interest, as did the raffle with its many prizes on offer. Afternoon tea was served with delicious sandwiches and scones, and the bar provided much needed refreshments during the excellent BBQ, which took place later that evening.
A total of just over £1,000 was raised for this years charity, Whitehorse Youth Centre in West Croydon.
