Charity Day : Monday 5th May 2014

On behalf of the ‘HAPPY FEET’ team and the National Autistic Society, thank you to everyone who supported the Charity Day on bank holiday Monday 5th May – with your help we raised around £900, which is a whopping amount!!!

So, if you looked after a stall, cooked food (either at the BBQ or in the kitchen), made salads, washed up, donated items, baked cakes or preserves, made tea & coffee, grew plants, spent your money, had a few drinks, provided entertainment (the singers were all fabulous!), made some crafts, took photographs, organised things, set up or tidied away, served behind the bar, advertised the event, invited friends and family, arranged for the sun to shine or anything else …… this special thank you is for you!!!!  There is only 1 person to mention by name and that’s Maureen – who co-ordinated the whole day and made it so successful.

To sum up, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day and there was a great atmosphere – hopefully everyone will support the event again next year when we can help another charity!
