Fun table tennis tournament for juniors

Following the successful tournament for adults, our junior members (aged 10+) had a great time at their social table tennis evening on Friday 28th February. There were around 16 players, and Chris Watson (in his very organised coach-like way!) allocated them into 2 groups.  They all had 5 or 6 round robin matches, then all the scores were added up and those with the most points played in the final round.  Unfortunately the adults weren’t able to get involved as the kids were enjoying playing so much, but maybe next time?!

Thank you to everyone who came along, and well done to the winners and runners-up of each group!  Thank you also to Charlotte Trzcinska for running the bar as well as Maddie & Kevin Dunn for providing & cooking all the food – the pizza was a huge hit (so were the cakes & sweets for pudding!).  As it was such a success and everyone seemed to have lots of fun, I’m sure we will organise more events of a similar nature in the future.
