Horace Minshull Tournament

Ten players – evenly spread into 5 ladies and 5 men – arrived for the Horace Minshull tournament on an overcast bank holiday Monday, 27th August.  Five rounds of 7 games each were played, with scores recorded after each round and added up at the end. The tennis was good fun and even the rain held off – always a bonus when playing outdoors!  Congratulations to the winners (Carrie Askew and Lek Moonpen) and runners up (Val Colombo and Peter Wray).  Prize money was kindly donated back to the club!
