Alice Kirk and Ella Corby won their 4th and final fixture in the U12 Aegon Girls Surrey Division 2 in convincing form on Saturday 26 May at Banstead Downs Tennis Club.
The girls, who are great friends, now both attend Wallington High School for Girls and are a combined team of Sanderstead Tennis Club & Purley Bury Tennis Club. Both girls, who are coached by Andy Ross of MDL Coaching, were unbeaten in all their singles and doubles matches and indeed didnt lose a set in winning the league, which took place during April & May in a variety of weather conditions. Teams they beat along the way were Shirley Park, Walton on Thames, Downswood and Banstead Downs.
The girls are pictured at Sanderstead Lawn Tennis Club where the home matches were played.
